Student Resources
At Calvary Baptist Church we believe our role in Student Ministry is to come along side parents in raising the next generation to know the truth of the Gospel. While providing regular scheduled times of worship, prayer, Bible study, discipleship, and fellowship are certainly part of this; we also believe it is important to provide resources for parents. We hope that these resources will help to continue the conversations we start and will be a blessing to you and your students.

Our DV8 Youth (6th-12th grade) are currently going through The Jesus Studies on Sunday mornings.
There are many issues students deal with as they try to live out their faith in a world that’s often opposed to their core beliefs. Navigating these issues can be rough. Students get so many mixed messages; the world says one thing, their friends may say another. And we hope they know enough about their faith to know how to make sense of it all.
That’s why The Jesus Studies aim to cut through the confusion, teaching your students a Christ-centered look at the major issues they deal with in their lives.

Our DV8 Youth and College & Career are currently going through
Exodus: The Story of Us on Wednesday Nights.
The book of Exodus lays out the pattern for redemption. The Israelites need a Redeemer. Throughout the book we see them grumble, complain, disobey, worship false gods, and try to be their own Savior. It’s pretty easy to see. What’s not so apparent to us is how we are just like them. We, too, do all those same things. We, too, need a Redeemer.
Apart from students hearing about who this God is in light of our true condition, they won’t see their deep need for a Redeemer. Students need to be equipped with gospel glasses from which to view all of God’s Word, and specifically to see how the Old Testament book of Exodus is all about God’s redemption in Christ. With these lenses for seeing Jesus written across these pages, the goal is for students to understand how the gospel informs and transforms all of life.
Exodus:
The Story of Us seeks to help students do just that.
